Damn Goose

For about five minutes today I seriously considered making Wobbles into food. Since that point I have been considering giving him back to our neighbor, but I think our other (nice) goose would miss him (plus so would the kids who are not regularly assaulted by him).

I'm a slow learner. It takes me a few times of things being different to notice and change my perspective on reality. I know this to be true from other life experiences.

Today C got attacked by Wobbles, yet again. Unfortunately I was on the other side of a five foot fence at the time, and all my yelling at C to "kick him" just got C pecked more (because he'd run at Wobbles, then not be able to land a kick, thus keeping him in the danger zone longer).

*sigh*

New rules. Wobbles has to stay in the chicken/goose/horse yard unless under strict supervision by an adult. I really liked having the geese in the main yard. They were like feathery little dogs. Now I have to treat Wobbles like the bird he is and keep him penned up.

Sorry it took me so long to figure that out, C.
