H started me on Inktober on day 1. I've been posting on my Twitter and Instagram. H has been posting on Instagram, Facebook, and Deviant art.

Day 1, ring. Day 2, mindless. Day 3, bait. Day 4, freeze.

C joined in on day 3. He drew a scene from The Legend of Zelda game involving an item called bait. He asked me to post it where I used to post his Captain Ducklips comic - Tumblr. Miracle of miracles, Tumblr and my phone interfaced successfully, so I posted his drawing. C's second offering, to the prompt freeze, involved the intrepid Captain Ducklips - in the latest installment of his adventures a new villain appeared on the scene, Captain Penguibot.

Today C starts his road trip with his Dad to visit Oma and Opa. He wants to keep drawing, but the logistics for posting will be challenging. He'll have to photograph and text me his pictures. I suppose, worst case, I post all of them next Friday when he gets home.

S joined in on day 4. She has a dragon character that can freeze things.

S doesn't have social media accounts, though she's contemplating getting a Deviant art, so I figured I'd share her picture here.

S had her final, in Ceramics I, this morning. She got 100%. She was informed by her instructor that she is getting an A in the class. As soon as the school computers know that as well, we'll sign her up for Ceramics II in the Fall. She's also planning on taking a Sculpture class.

S's teacher saw me waiting to pick her up one day and told me she is a hard worker. When I agreed with him, he added that she is a gem. Proud Momma moment, I gotta tell you. It will come a no surprise, that when S asked him, he agreed to be a reference for her for job applications she will need to start collecting and filling out as soon as she shakes this cold we have running through the house.

M has plans to put up a shelf above S's closet to hold some of her creations. In the meantime, I've cleared her off a bookshelf near the front door.

Some of her later stuff is still living in boxes on the dog's kennel. As soon as we can manage, her masks will be displayed in a lighted nook, obviously designed to hold art, but empty for the past nine years for lack of anything suitable with which to fill it.

This photo does not do them justice, especially the dragon.

Lately, S's 3D creativity has turned towards "How to Train your Dragon" for inspiration.

These are running at 8 to 10 hours build time. Sleep can sometimes take a back seat to her muse.
