Treasure Hunt

Well, we just spent the last several hours playing treasure hunt. Reading and following clues, deciphering maps, navigating mazes, solving riddles and fighting off lions and monsters.

That has to be worth something.

Not every day is a golden moment of catching frogs and playing in the rain. It doesn't have to be. There's learning value in everything, including "find a way to entertain yourself." The gift of giving your child the time to explore their passions is a huge one, and you're awesome for doing that.
