C took a nap earlier this evening (still trying to catch up on sleep from CopperCon), as a result he was up later than the girls tonight, and I started wandering around blogs to pass the time till he conked out. After following a link from LawDog to In Jennifer's Head, I went from there to Abstruse Goose.
I've only read two strips, the rest may suck, but this one is so relevant to us these days. This is what I keep telling H when she complains about the mini-infomercials that broadcast on Qubo (our 24 hour cartoon channel). First they demonstrate an imaginary need (or make things look harder, messier, more confusing than they really are), then present a solution that is only needed if you believe the first half of their commercial. H gets so mad at them for trying to sell stuff neither she nor any member of our family needs.
H was already asleep when I found the strip, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to show it to her.
