And so the story goes....

Once upon a time we bought a Wii - and there was much rejoicing.

Sometime later Nintendo came out with a game called Super Smash Bros. (henceforth to be referred to as SSB) for the Wii. We acquired said game and while there was much yelling and fighting, there was also much rejoicing.

Then lo did there develop a problem. The older Wii systems could be confounded by the amount of information processing required for the SSB game. Discovering this problem, Nintendo did the gracious thing by offering, free of charge (even covering shipping costs), to clean the old Wii systems and make them able to play SSB once again.

A long time ago we took them up on their offer and went without our Wii for but a week and a half (for the Nintendo repair department is most efficient). All was well again and there was much rejoicing.

Then the problem developed for a second time, and after a few months of stalling we once again sent our Wii off for repairs.

Here is the part of our story where Nintendo surpasses normal, good, customer service. Determining that our Wii and SSB game were beyond repair, they sent to us (again free of charge, all shipping covered by Nintendo) a new Wii and new SSB game disk. They also made sure to transfer all of our personal data and add any upgrades needed.

And there was much rejoicing.

And so ends my tale.

Now I'm off to play SSB with C.
