Chicken Photos (Finally ;-)
Dec. 5th, 2010 10:31 pmWe got this latest set of chicks on October 9th (I know, I know, it took me nearly two months to get any pictures of them up - oof. Needless to say, they are a lot bigger now, but with any luck I'll get more photos up before another two months pass).
We got two mystery chicks - a white one the girls named Snow (or RatBoy if it ends up a boy, since it liked to crawl up onto the girls' shoulders like a rat before it was big enough to be put in the main chicken/damn geese/horse yard) and a yellow one (I'm guessing is a Buff Orpington) C named Jumpy.
We got two Americanas, H named one Black and White Rainbow (because in black and white a rainbow is a little bit white and a little bit black and mostly browns like that chick) and everyone agreed on Pepper for the other.
One is a Speckled Sussex we named Autumn.
The last one is a Giant Cochin S named Midnight Moon. It was a tiny, mostly black puffball with feathery feet.

From left to right: Black and White Rainbow, Pepper, RatBoy (white), Jumpy (yellow), Autumn, Midnight Moon (little bit of black feathers behind Autumn).
