crazychicknladyI love being able to make a meal for my family out of a dollars worth of bread, 25 cents worth of milk and our chicken's eggs.
Okay, to be fair, I added a few cents of cinnamon and a little vanilla, too. Still easily totaling less than 2 bucks :).
I'm frugal, and sometimes even like to revel in the fact.
I do break out of the mold sometimes - I even bought an icecream cake for H for her birthday recently. Of course, looking at the pricetags, $15.99 for a regular round cake, $16.99 for the same sized icecream cake, I didn't even have to think twice (plus the added benefit of satisfying a lifelong childhood desire to have an icecream cake for my own Birthday, it was a definite win).
