House Filk

crazychicknladyWith a decent turn out for once.
All told, we had 8 guests: 5 local folks, 2 from a few hours away, and 1 all the way from Canada.
Then again, M scheduled the filk with the hopes that it's timing would mesh well with the schedule of the lady from Toronto.
I even got to participate a lot for the first time in I don't know how long. M and I did two duets and I sang another three songs on my own. Unheard of, really. I think the last time I made it to a filk I managed one and a half songs.
The kids each performed once - H and S sang some of a Taylor Swift song together (You Should Have Said No.), and C sang something made up on the spot which ended with "Mommy, I love you." and a hug, so what's not to love :).
