Dying Easter Eggs
Apr. 2nd, 2008 03:23 pmWe dyed eggs the day before Easter. I boiled up ten of our brown eggs (I used all the babies' eggs we had on hand) and the one white egg we had left over from the last time I had to buy store eggs. It turns out that brown eggs dye fairly well.

C tried to use the metal dipping tool,
but his most effective technique was to
plunge both the egg and his hand into the dye.

S's favorite egg.

Our final product. The one on the top right is
a brown egg that was not dyed (H dropped it
early in the process so we put it aside).
