Rock Candy

crazychicknladyThis is our most successful attempt at making rock candy to date. We added red food coloring to the sugar water mixture to try to make pink rock candy. Once the liquid was washed away, the candy just looked clear, so the dye didn't take.
The kids enjoyed eating it, anyway.
