Still here after two days. Very sweet to the humans - has even let C carry her around. Very intolerant of the four legged critters in the house - acts like she has always lived here and is supposed to be in charge. Very food focused when it comes to human food - stole a slice of turkey sandwich meat out of C's hand. Very cuddly - spent several hours curled up in a ball on H's lap last night.

Date: 2008-05-29 09:22 pm (UTC)I will keep my fingers crossed for you that New Cat will develop manners once she settles in. The cuddly factor is really a nice bonus, especially with the munchkins. They adore fuzzies that like to cuddle, and so, I confess, do I. Hermione isn't much for snuggling. If she ends up in my lap or in bed with us it is usually because she is feeling sick or insecure. Trouble and Vicky more than make up for Hermione's desire not to be a lap cat, though. Trouble would very happy if Patrick spent the rest of his natural ife in the red recliner with Trouble on his chest. Vicky spends most of every night in bed with us. Usually someplace inconvenient. Since we got back from Baycon our bed has been kind of crowded. It should be better tonight.
Love the photos!

Date: 2008-05-30 01:19 am (UTC)She is still way too pushy about people food, however. I am reminded of the cat version of the Bella Chow song whenever I have to scoop New Cat off the counters. I think she would have made short work of the pot roast put out to thaw. Yesterday she stole C's hot dog off the table and ate more than half of it before H caught her at it.
