crazychicknladyI had thought about posting a Day One and a Day Two, but S, C and I have been so busy I haven't had the time. We went to the mall everyday to play at the indoor play place and ride the carousel. Yesterday we spent several hours at the toy store in the mall. As a result, S and C collected together their savings and today they each purchased a toy puppy that walks and barks that they can walk on a leash. The plan is for the puppies to stay switched off when M is home.
I talked with M today, wished him a happy Father's Day, and got an update on how H is fairing. I had last spoken with them Friday morning to confirm they had arrived safely at Grandma's house.
H is having a great time. They were really busy yesterday. H went ceramic cat painting with Grandma. Later everyone went to M's sister's house for a barbecue. H and her second cousin A spent a good deal of time chasing A's older brother around the yard. Tonight they get a yummy dinner cooked by M's Aunt.
They come home tomorrow morning. I'm so glad this worked out. I'm also glad it's almost over.
