"Walking"

That's what C (2yrs) says when he wants to control a toon in Toontown. He pushes the arrow keys to move the toon around and says "walking" because he is making the toon walk. *very cute*

He also sings the "Bossbot gone" song. When I was playing last week I had a task for my toon that involved killing a certain kind of Bossbot (the enemies in Toontown are various kinds of cogs called bots).

Well, when I couldn't find what I needed I started singing "Where have all the Bossbots gone..." to the tune of "Where have all the Flowers gone". When I stopped singing C started in with "Bossbots gone, Bossbots gone" in his sweet high pitched singing voice. It was so cute and sweet.

New Layer

One of the babies graduated to layer today.

A couple hours ago I heard a chicken making some loud noises. When I looked out I could see three of our hens, it was obvious the noise was not coming from any of them. I hoped that meant the one I couldn't see (the New Hampshire Red - H's chicken, Rose) was busy trying to lay an egg.

A few minutes ago, I checked and low and behold an egg. :-) :-)

Well, it was on top of the nesting box, instead of inside it, and as a result was cracked. Ah well, perhaps she'll figure it out soon. Still, she's laying eggs now. :-) :-)
