I Made Fudge
Dec. 19th, 2008 09:13 pmWhen I was a teenager I tried to make fudge with a friend of mine from high school. We failed utterly. I think we cooked it way too long, and it ended up like burnt bubbly candy.
Well, tonight, with much help from C and H, I made fudge. I followed the very simple looking recipe for Canadian Fudge from here.
I got to that page from an advent calendar site here, then by picking door number 19.
It is more like brown sugar and vanilla fudge, rather than chocolate fudge, but I happened to have all of the ingredients on hand, though I did have to halve the recipe.
It is very tasty and, amazingly enough, the consistency of crumbly fudge.
