I started reading a new blog, Un-Schooled: Superman isn't worth the wait, after my sister pointed it out to me (thanks sis :). It's by a twenty something who was homeschooled all her life, and while some of her education does not sound like unschooling to me (made to practice piano an hour a day, made to do algebra and geometry), she identifies herself as a grown unschooler. The posts I've read so far are generally insightful and interesting, even if there always seems to be a bit in each that I'm not totally in agreement with.

Since then I followed her links to her other blog which addresses more general topics. Also very entertaining. The thing is, she links to other blogs and articles in her writings on both these sites.

My tabs are getting overwhelming. As I work my way through each one - usually another interesting read really - I end up with three or four more, since I've opened up even more of the links in the newer writings.

I don't read quickly. Never have. My stacks of books in my want to/need to read piles will attest to this. But so far I haven't wanted to stop my endless chasing of links. I woke up early and got some reading in, and I'm fairly sure my tab count is higher now than it was when I went to bed last night.

I even found a page on a different unschooler's blog which links to lists of blogs by teenage and grown unschoolers. I may have to save that one for another day. I'm too close to achieving tab overload when I just say "screw it" and close them all.

BTW, on a slightly separate note, I am very pleased with myself that I remembered how to make all those links without having to use LJ help.
