One for the memory banks.
Aug. 23rd, 2011 05:40 pmThe other night C ran up to me and said, "Mom, number one: I love you." Then he hugged me.
Then he said, "Number 2: I love you." Then he hugged me.
Then he said, "Number 3: I love you." Then he hugged me again.
Number 4 and 5 were the same.
Then he said, "Number 6: when are we going to go to a hotel again?."
When I answered, "I don't know." he continued his count, "Number 7, I love you." Followed, of course, by another hug.
He then started his count from the top, and proceeded to give me many fives worth of "I love you"s and hugs.
He is such a sweet, loving, expressive boy.
ETA: And I want to remember how much he was smiling and how brightly his eyes were shining through this whole thing. He was cheerful and happy and loving his game of hugging Mommy.
