The girls did their "Trick-or-Treat so others can eat" while C played on the super cool playground right by where everyone parked. He was all decked out in his Super Spider Kid outfit and ready to go along to help the girls till he saw the playground. No worries. He'll get his chance a week from Monday when the CloverBuds go out.

We did lots of Madlibs this weekend; C has recently decided he likes to participate in picking words, and I don't have to just stick with number and body part ones for him, with a little explanation he can even handle adverbs.

The girls got to shoot with bows and air-rifles again at their latest Shooting-Sports meeting on Sunday. On the first 6 shots with bow, S got 5 on target, H got one on someone else's target. For the second 6 shots they switched H to shooting left handed with a right handed bow, and she got two on target. Whew. She is left eye dominant like her Opa, and they got her shooting left handed on the air rifle from the get go, but I think the lack of left handed bows made them less concerned about eye dominance for archery. It was a different leader this time, so hopefully the other leaders have no problem letting her shoot a right handed bow left handed. Otherwise we might get her her own left handed bow.

As it is, if the girls still like archery after a few more meetings, some bows and arrows and targets may wander their way into our home around Christmas time anyway. The kind we are looking at should be able to be set up in such a way that C could use one, too.
