Busy Weekend.
Nov. 20th, 2011 11:58 pmBusy weekend. Busier week coming up (but I remembered to put the Turkey in the fridge to start thawing). In serious need of keflopping right about now.
Friday. H rode horse, S rode horse, I rode horse and hung out in the empty field near farmer's while the kiddos fed the animals and hung out with the new kids. Ezra was being a spaz.
Saturday. Shopping. Had friends visit. Good visit, hadn't connected with them in a looooong time even though they aren't that far away from us.
Sunday. Girls had a 4-H shooting sports meeting. I did more shopping. Got some new board games, since if I have to play Life too many more time I might start pulling my hair out. M made a target so the kiddos could try out the bow we got H. I rode Ez on a long ride, since he was really good today. Flipping inconsistent horse. I had a wonderful time on my ride with him today. H put the ducks away while they were shooting because she was worried they would get into the field of fire. She gave them two extra pools of water to make them happy (This didn't add to the longness of my weekend, I just though it was a neat thing for H to have done on her own, especially the extra pools she had to drag out of the garage.).
I'm not really sure why Friday counts in my weekend, but it was busy, and really I probably should include Thursday evening as well, since we had a big Clover Buds + Shooting Sports/Art and Crafts meeting to make costumes for the upcoming holiday parade we'll be participating in. (And yes, the previous run-on sentence was intentional. It just seemed more fitting that way.)
ETA: I forgot to mention the small bonfire S, C and I made Friday night (which I kept going by digging up some of the overgrown and drying out sunflowers nearby).
