We got up early (7:45AM) to participate in a local parade as part of a 4-H Frosty the Snowman float. Our throats were all sore by the end after singing, "Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, look at Frosty go. Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, over the hills of snow." rather a lot. It started to rain near the end of the parade.
After making lunch (french toast and hot dogs) I played Sonic and the Secret rings Party Games with the kiddos for over an hour.
The girls each took a bike ride.
Late that afternoon I rode Ezra in some light rain. He was really spazzy when I got him ready and I almost changed my mind two or three times about riding him before getting him saddled. Once I was up in the saddle he was fine. He calmed right down and listened. He wanted to go fast, but he wasn't out of control. I ended up taking him on a short street ride. I would have gone longer, but we were running out of daylight.
