Yesterday we spent the entire day out and about (3pm - 11pm). We looked at three different trucks.

F-150 extended cabs.

We want a new hay truck. We want a hay truck that can fit the whole family. Also, maybe a hay truck M can drive to work when his Mustang decides to not start - for no apparent (read mechanics can't seem to find, let alone fix the damn problem) reason. Maybe even a hay truck M can drive if he needs to make the long trek to visit family - thus cruise control would be nice.

We drove all the way across town to look at two of them. The third was a lot closer to home, but it was good we looked at the others and drove one of them. It made the decision to buy the closer one easier. It drove better, and had features that were missing in the others; features we didn't realize we'd need, but the lack of them was annoying in the others.

We were out so long we ended up having dinner out, at a Thai Restaurant (S had been wanting glass noodle soup for a long while now). By the time we tested the last truck (after dinner) it was late and dark. The perfect time to go to a park - the thirty other kids there seemed to indicate we weren't the only ones who thought so - to let the kids have a break from driving around and to let C get some of his bouncy out.

Tonight we'll pick up the new (to us) truck, and I've promised the kids we'll head back out to that park - last night we only got in about 45 minutes of playing before it was time for the park to close.
