S's Music.
Jul. 8th, 2012 12:10 pmA while back, S wrote the first two lines for the following song. She is working on making it longer, so last night, on the way home from a Pool/Food/Filk get together, she worked out the second two lines. H helped by suggesting bees in trees.
High in the sky the birds do fly.
Down on the ground the Earth is round.
The sky is blue and the ocean is too.
The bees in the trees and fish in the seas.
On another note, M introduced the kids to a song that he used to do at Faire. Basically you repeat the words "Wagon Wheel" over and over. C figured out that "Dragon Wheel" also scanned, and, given his fondness for dragons, sang that version for a while.
Light-bulb moment for S at that point, and she proceeded to find alternatives to that song until H begged her to stop. Some were:
"Pop Tart Man" (to which C countered with "Pop Tart Cat").
"Man Bear Pig" (this one got a laugh out of M).
"Vegetable".
"Pikachu" (though, that one was my fault).
And several numbers such as "Sixty-two".
