Hot Days.

It's hot around these parts. At least there is a nice air-conditioned house to escape into between outside chores. My day goes something like this:

Let horses and ducks out into the main yard, check for eggs and make sure there is some water available for the chickens. Escape inside.

Later - give the chickens fresh water all around (pool and mini-pool at the very least, sometimes a few extra buckets and a small waterer). Give dogs (and ducks as a result) and horses fresh water. Escape inside.

Make lunch.

Even later - clean up horse pen and refill two pools for the ducks. Escape inside.

Even later than that - clean up yard in some way - mow, or pick up horse and dog poop in main yard, get garbage can to front if next day is garbage pickup, weed. Top off the horses' water. Escape inside.

Make dinner.

Somewhere in all of that is interacting with the kiddos beyond food, and cleaning some of the house, and playing on the computer.

Hot shower.
