Bird Mug Shots.

It's been running in the 117s lately around here. Hot enough to make me worry a tad bit about the birds. The first year out here I lost several chickens to a heat wave we had in August. Every summer since then I have been a lot more careful about making sure water is extra easily accessible and abundant; so far (knock on wood), I have not had any more losses due to excessive heat.

Yesterday I took photos of all our birds, just in case a few don't make it through this summer.
