FireBoy and WaterGirl YouTube.
Jul. 15th, 2013 11:49 amYesterday, after struggling with the first software we tried out for about and hour (and four or five failed video attempts), M found us different software to screen capture. C (as CoinBash) then made 10 videos of FireBoy and WaterGirl 3. The first five were with me (as TavniaMoon), then he made five more with S (as GreenGlacier). It's a two player free online game, so we had two people perched on one chair sharing the little mike we have. Our sound balance has issues - we had to turn off the game sound to make the people talking be audible. I think for this particular game it works, though. These turned out to be better viewing than C's minecraft videos from the day before.
S also made one minecraft video. She gave a tour of her creative world. The new software is working much better than the old software - and not just because it doesn't randomly choose to have file name errors. So even though a lot of S's video is at night, it's still easy to see in the video. In C's minecraft videos, with the old software, whenever the screen got dim to C, it looked black on the video.
I was wiped out tired by the end of the day.
