YouTube Channel Update.
Aug. 1st, 2013 01:56 pmWell, we've been at this YouTube channel thing for about two weeks now. The kids are still having fun with it - in fact S and H have gotten more into it and both started their own string of minecraft videos.
H is doing a build challenge series, which she plans to add to once a week. She is trying to get challenges from subscribers - then she will screencast while she builds the challenge. Her first one is a horse barn. S has taken the suggestion of a friend, that we do an obstacle course, and turned in into a series of screencasts of her building the obstacle course. Then she'll screencast running through the course. She's adding to her project whenever she feels like recording.
We are up to 4 subscribers. The fourth seems to really like our gamecube Super Smash Bros. videos. He's commented on two, and subscribed after his comment on the first. He's our first commenter, actually, which is exciting in and of itself.
The four links above will get you to our youtube channel main page, H's and S's current projects, and the gamecube Super Smash Bros. playlist. Click over and take a look.
