We're slowly trying to get things back to normal here. Slowly, so at 10:50am I still have 10 minutes to myself before I have to wake anyone up.
On Friday H was so sick she had to call in sick to work. By the next day her fever had broken and while her appetite was still suppressed, she was at least able to keep everything down.
S is still coughing a lot, and I'm a little worried she'll overdo it and get worse, but she is aiming to be back on a regular schedule by Monday.
C seems to be recovering well. I made him skip both karate classes last week, so he could avoid pushing himself too hard. This week should be back to normal.
My current theory is both girls got one virus. By the time C got sick we assumed it was the first virus, so the girls weren't careful about exposure. It seems, it was actually a second virus, and C had just missed the first. So, double whammy for the girls. The only thing that worries me about this theory, is both girls threw up, but C didn't. It's going to really suck if we actually have a third virus running around.
ETA: I got so quickly sucked into the miasma of our life with sick kids, I forgot to mention: In an attempt to grab back a little fun, M plans to take the kids to see the latest Star Wars movie tonight, as it has finally made it to the discount theatre. I think regular movie prices and intentionally torn jeans make me want to yell in a grouchy old woman voice, "Get off my lawn!"
