Grateful, Day 2.
Apr. 28th, 2018 10:32 amI think I'll focus on modern conveniences for this one:
AC - we got a new one installed last year after limping through several summers on the old one. Cold air is nice.
Netflix - I binge a lot of shows I missed the first time around. Besides, I still remember having to deal with seasons and reruns.
Youtube - There are a lot of knowledgeable people out there with a desire to share. Plus, the occasional illicitly obtained, covertly recorded, musical (last night H found us a recording of Wicked , since S had never seen it before).
Capitalism, combined with modern shiping and trade - My grocery stores are full of food, and I can get reasonably priced, non native fruit, all year round.
This nifty little smart phone on which I'm writing this entry - Camera, games, calculator, search engine, maps, and even a phone all rolled into one.
