Grateful, Day 8 - Gun range and Chicken.
May. 4th, 2018 08:52 pmS, dear hubby, and I had a wonderful day today. I'll incorporate it into my gratitude list:
Free, open air, gun range, with shade and tables, less than an hour drive from home.
Getting to go shooting with some good friends, my hubby, and my daughter.

My daughter repeatedly telling me, "this is fun, we should do this more often!", with a big grin on her face.
A surprisingly tasty late lunch at a fast food chicken joint I'd never eaten at before.
The reaction of the cashier when I tipped her. She had never been tipped before. I told her she was wonderful and she came out from behind the counter and hugged me. She deserved it: she was friendly, cheerful, helpful, remembered my name, brought out our food, and checked on us later. Mind you, at a fast food place.
