Main Event.

Monday we did Main Event with the teen group. I'm still wiped out, and I didn't even play laser tag this time. We stayed for about 6 hours, 3 of which were official group get together time. One mother stayed an extra hour after the rest bailed and it was moderately entertaining visiting with her. She is a Dave Ramsey fan and she volunteered that her husband conceal carries, and she wants him to take her girls to a range, rather than just shooting cans in the desert. Her older daughter hung out with my three, mostly playing laser tag together.

I'm glad Main Event ends up being an only once every 3 months type of event for our group. It's a fun night, but the thought of going back any time soon fills me with dread.

Ice skating, on the other hand, is a wondrous activity that I thoroughly enjoy and always look forward to. I bring this seemingly unconnected topic up in this post, because our teen group has scheduled an ice skating event for next week.
