Christmas Chicks.
Dec. 1st, 2018 09:17 pmChristmas came a little early at our house this year.
The plan was to get 6 chicks for Christmas. Fortunately, one of the feed stores I frequent still gets chicks at this time of year. Their last shipment of the year is the 21st, much better timing for Christmas chicks, but I prefered the variety they had available yesterday. We got two Ameraucanas for H, two Barred Rocks for S, and the icing on the cake, two Golden Sex Links for C. C really wanted chickens that wouldn't look the same as his Rhode Island Red, Flop.
The babies were only two days old yesterday, so they are still small enough today for H to hold all six at once.
