Elizabeth Warren was advocating for universal childcare. She insisted that one way this will pay for itself is freeing up women to go into the workplace. I assume this translates to increased tax revenue in her mind. It also continues to undermine the value of parents. What about the crazy idea of a stay at home parent? A choice to live on one income for the betterment of your children and family? If the Federal government manages to create universal pre-K or child care how long before it becomes mandatory? Or how long till the tax burden becomes so high to support such programs, that more and more people see these things as necessary and expected. I mean, obviously the government can do a better job of raising your children than you can.
