So it turns out everyone, and their mother, is puzzling during the pandemic. Finding new puzzles to buy, of the brands I would prefer that is, is well-nigh impossible. Unless, of course, I were willing to pay 3 or 4 times the normal list price for the privilege.
Wild hair ensues.
We now have two puzzle areas.
The new one now holds the stack of puzzles we've been working on up till now, with an unfinished 1000 piece Buffalo Games puzzle waiting to be worked on. The old puzzle table has the beginnings of a 2000 piece, also, coincidentally, a Buffalo Games puzzle, which will become the new base of the stack.
I also have a vintage 1000 piece American Publishing puzzle in the mail.
Eventually, with some fairly complex hand waving, we'll have one stack again, but that is likely to take a few weeks. When that happens, though, I expect we will start playing air hockey again.
If you want to see the pictures, I posted them at my Instagram
