Sunday.

S made orange meringue tarts. A victorious experiment to add to her pumpkin and apple tarts she made on Saturday. She will have a long day Monday, it starts with a 9 hour work shift, but it will get to end with a Christmas party.

S will be the only one to attend a Christmas party this year for obvious reasons. I personally think of M's work party being cancelled as a small ray of sunshine in an otherwise lousy year.

Dec 21-31.

Due to kittens, one of the few good things to come out of 2020, we had to take precautions with the Christmas tree this year.





Newkie always seems to get in the way of my photo of the kids' stockings (though I may have encouraged her this year). I always take pictures of the stockings before I hang them on their doorknobs.



It was Christmas day by the time we finally got around to making Christmas cookies.

Since everything fun was canceled this year, we got lots of fireworks to send 2020 on it's way.




By the sounds of it, at least three of our neighbors dramatically outdid us, with illegal fireworks.
