S's Friend.
Sep. 14th, 2021 01:27 pmI'm excited, I did something positive and useful today. This morning I texted the mother of the one kid left whom S likes to hang out with at gaming/parkday. As a direct result of that he was dropped off a few minutes ago. Bonus, C likes hanging out with him, too.
Last week no one showed up, and we cut out after an hour (after playing a game of Encore) to buy coffee drinks.
The week before, other kids showed up, but not this particular one.
Gaming/parkday seems to be on life support at this point, but I will see if it can be saved once the weather cools off enough to attract less hard core folks to venture out of their homes. Our teen group appears to have people in it, so we'll see.
