Covidiocy.
Nov. 27th, 2021 07:55 pmI just got informed by my father-in-law, as he was leaving after a three day visit, that if he had known in advance that we were not vaccinated they wouldn't have come; he has recovered from cancer and his immune system is shot, so even though he has the vaccines and the booster, covid could kill him.
So let me get this straight, he wasn't deterred by the need to cross state lines, stay at 3 different hotels, eat at various restaurants, stop at god only knows how many gas stations and rest stops, no, the end point was the kicker. Even though Oma asked us our vaccination status on the very first day, and I answered her honestly, they still came back the extra two days.
It was only at the end of the visit that he basically told me that if he comes down with something and dies we're to blame. If he's that scared of that happening, why the frick didn't he just stay home in the first place. We'd still be able to pass the virus to him if we were vaccinated and he'd still be exposed to all the germs during both directions of travel and while staying at the hotels.
