Going Old School This Weekend.
Sep. 7th, 2024 07:02 pmThe boy went camping this weekend, and it just so happens that the campground is in a dead zone.
Do you remember what it was like before cellphones, smartphones, and easy texting?
When we would take off for somewhere and there was no way to contact the people who cared about us?
I've been spoiled, being able to contact each of my kids at the drop of a hat.
I think I've done pretty well with the unknown this weekend. I should know in a couple of hours if my son successfully found his way to his boffer friends, rather than being lost or stuck on the side of the road since Friday afternoon.
