Other people make snowmen, we make....
Dec. 10th, 2012 11:59 amSnow chickens!
(It was S's idea, but H helped give the hen and rooster lots of chicks.)

And a snow Pikachu.

We went to a local grocery store's Winter Festival last Saturday. They had "snow"; a pile all of about twenty feet across and three or four feet high. The kids (as well as the twenty or so other kids there at any given time) had a blast. "Snow" for a warm weather clime.
I suggested S try to make a snowman, and she ended up making a couple of snow chickens. As the snowballs/slushballs flew fast and furious she then had to protect them from the more destructive minded kids in the area.
Later, when we brought Arrow to the "snow", S made a snow Pikachu. She then planted him in a hole in the snow so it would take him longer to melt.
