Christmas at Our House.
Dec. 25th, 2012 04:04 pmAfter looking through her stocking this morning, H told me, "I bet normal families don't give their 10 and 11 year old girls knives for Christmas."
I'm so glad we're not a normal family. By far the favorite of the stocking stuffers was the multi-tool (which has a knife among it's many gadgets) M picked out for each of the kids.
After putting an hour or so of play into the Lego: Lord of the Rings Wii game we got the kids and finishing up breakfast (Ham and cheese omelets made by M), the rest of the presents were opened.
The current favorite (based on how long they have been out playing with them), the squirt guns their grandma gave them (one of many assorted gifts from her giant bags of goodies). The kids have armed themselves and ventured forth into the backyard to have great adventures.
They also figured out that if you squirt water from a squirt gun at Arrow's mouth he will try to drink it.
