I read a neat essay recently, written by a young man who had been unschooled all his life, except for this last year of school where he attended a public high school as a freshman. The essay talks about his reasons for attending and his reactions to the experience. It's a good read.

Apparently there is an unschoolers conference in Sacramento August 14-17.
