Tree Trimming

We got the tree a couple of weeks back. We hung the decorations that night, after I put on the lights. M tried to find us Christmas songs on Youtube. That was okay for a little while, but I wanted to find some songs from my childhood memories. Finally I just unburied the record player and played the kids some songs off of my favorite Christmas records. I even found "The Christmas Polka", and danced the polka in the kitchen with the kids. I remember when I was a kid and that song would come on the radio, my Mom would always grab one of us and polka around the room.

It was a really fun night. Good timing, too, since S came down with a bad cold the next morning.
