S's Second Karate Tournament.

crazychicknladyS finished with her karate tournament earlier today. She participated in forms (beat out one kid, so second to last), sparring (got third out of 6) and sword (again, third out of 6). I was really proud of her for the sparring and sword.
In the age group one up from S, there weren't as many participants, so one of the girls from S's gym got first by default on two events. S and I agreed on the way home that her thirds were more satisfying than a first by default would have been.
