Happy New Years
Jan. 1st, 2015 01:02 amTo start our New Years celebration, we had onion dip with potato chips and some vegetables (carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower) while we watched Into the Woods. C, asked very seriously, about three quarters of the way through the show (while someone was singing) if this was a musical. When I told him yes, he said that that made sense.
We toasted midnight with Martinelli's Sparkling Cider (and M and I kissed - H told us it was required to kiss at midnight on New Years if you are together with someone), then the kids went outside to light some sparklers (S had made it a point earlier in the night to ask M if we had any sparklers or fireworks left over from the Fourth of July).
H finished this drawing very early in the morning on new Years Eve - the pony is her OC.
