Waiting at the boy's piano lesson, so I have a few minutes free to post.
The simplest post I can come up with is sharing a new picture of Charlie.

He is settling in well. He has all his basics down: potty, food, water, play, sleep. Waking still poses a bit of a challenge, though. He settles to sleep on H's bed at night, but seems to think 5:30am is wake up and yell at H time. She's taken to briefly yelling back, followed by covering her ear with a stuffy, ignoring him, and going back to sleep. Hopefully he eventually gets the idea that his new Mom is not a morning person.
We've tried introducing my cat to him a couple of times, but while Charlie seems amenable to the idea, Newkie tenses up, hisses, growls, and runs off. We'll keep trying, but they may just remain separated until H moves out.
