Gotta Catch Em All
Mar. 28th, 2009 03:16 pmLast night, with the strategic use of a permanent marker, H turned some of C's plastic balls (a few months back he bought a set of one hundred of the kind meant for at home ball pits) into Poké balls.
C gleefully handed out pokémon to everyone in the family.
M received a red ball with Charizard in it.
I received a blue ball with a Mudkip (as it so happens, I have a mudkip stuffed animal from several years ago when the girls were first into watching Pokémon).
The children proceeded to capture more and more pokémon as the night got later and later.
H and S would help C find new pokémon to battle, and I became the pokémon center, doing my best imitation of Nurse Joy, to revive the worn out pokémon.
First thing on waking up today, C wanted to locate all his scattered pokémon.
He then handed me a yellow poké ball so I could battle with him Psyduck to Psyduck.
