Scorpion Under Glass

This guy showed up a few weeks ago hiding in my pile of clean laundry (admittedly my laundry had been sitting for a few days when I started sorting it and found this unpleasant surprise). I determined empirically that a scorpion does not always sting you if you touch it. This one just ran really fast off the clothes and onto the floor where I was able to keep an eye on it till M brought me the glass.

So far this has been the only unpleasant visitor of this sort that we have run across.

*knock on wood*

Here's hoping it's the first and last.
