Ezra's not a Pasture Puff Anymore

crazychicknladyYesterday we rode Ezra for the first time.
He was an angel. By angel I mean he didn't rear, buck or bolt on me, and he generally did what I asked. By generally did what I asked I mean that after I made him do circles whenever he wanted to go faster than I wanted him to, he went at the speed I asked him for. He is definitely not safe for the kids to ride at this time.
Mid ride saddle adjustment.
After riding for about fifteen minutes I decided to stop. I didn't want to overdue it on the first day and wear him out. I then let him loose to graze and he promptly demonstrated just how much he was not worn out yet.
We rode him again later in the day and worked him a little harder that time (M even had a go on him, and all the kids got led around for a bit).
