crazychicknladyI was very busy all day long, but when M came home from work and I started mentioning some of the things I did while he was gone, it really didn't sound like much. I decided to make a reasonably detailed list of what I did today, and it turned into a fairly long list after all. It's also pretty tedious to read through, so I'm going to hide it behind this
Let dogs out and got the bucket to set up Ezra's breakfast.
Fed Ezra hay.
Fed chickens and geese scratch and crumble feed.
Gave Ezra fresh water.
Gave geese fresh water in their little pool.
Collected chicken eggs.
Cleaned a toilet.
Started a load of laundry - later moved it to the dryer and ran it.
Spent time with C, and played some facebook games.
Mixed up Ezra's breakfast and fed it to him.
Let the geese into the main yard and filled Pete's pool for them to swim in.
Cooked C some noodles to make cheesy noodles.
Made new coffee.
Rearranged some of the furniture - sweeping and dusting some in the process.
Washed Ezra (paying particular attention to his legs where he still seems to have some rain rot).
Sanitized the wash tools by soaking them in bleach water.
Let Ezra graze.
Cleaned some dishes while talking to my Mom on the phone.
Got S some food.
Set up a video for the kids (we just got Sonic Underground and they hadn't seen all of it yet)
Shooed Ezra off the porch and got him put back in his pen - gave him some extra hay.
Prepped dinner with C's help (enchiladas - nice thing is once I'm done with the prep they bake for nearly an hour).
Helped S name her new fairy on Pixie Hollow.
Took a shower.
Got the bucket ready to set up Ezra's dinner.
Pulled enchilada's out of the oven and cleaned and chopped lettuce to go with them.
Served everyone dinner.
Mixed up Ezra's dinner and fed him.
Fed myself dinner.
Groomed and tacked up Ezra.
Rode Ezra for about 45 minutes (H walked part way with me).
Gave pony rides to S, C and H.
Untacked Ezra and dried him off before letting him loose to graze.
Mixed up extra scoop of senior feed and water for an after ride treat for Ezra - then put him away in his pen.
Dealt with a fight between H and S.
Watered some flowers we have planted outside our fence.
Collected the mail.
Wrote my Grandmother a letter and put it in the mailbox.
Scrubbed out the horse's auto-waterer.
Scooped horse poop, picked up some trash in the back yard, then dragged the garbage can back to the front yard (tomorrow is garbage pickup).
Cleaned the cat's litter box and the other toilet.
Cut C's hair (per his request).
Took another shower.
Trimmed C's hair better.
Got S some cheesy noodles.
Took out the house garbage.
Started another load of laundry.
Wrote this list.
Talked with H about her face painting(she made herself into a cat).
Played a puppy game with the kids (and fed them meat as puppy treats - H changed her face paint to a puppy).
I still need to make M's lunch for tomorrow, move the laundry to the dryer, wash and dry another load, wash some dishes and fill and start the dishwasher.
