AC Out

Hot, very hot.

After tempers flared, I made S get her bathing suit on and go play in the wading pool outside. C joined her, and with the proper application of fun pops and some ice, all is well with them (well, mostly ;-).

I've pulled some weeds and picked up dog poop, and stepped in the wading pool a few times.

Hot, very hot.

We lost our AC during the worst heatwave we had last summer. Fortunately, Sacramento cools off at night, and our house is well insulated, meaning that despite the 108 degree temps outside, our house only got up to 86 before the temps outside dropped enough to open up.

Thanks to one of M's gun buddies, our AC was repaired this evening. Yay!
