crazychicknladyThank goodness for calamine lotion. It doesn't work that well on mosquito bites, but it really dulls the pain of ant bites (especially nice when one is swarmed by them while feeding the horse a treat of weeds and one happens to step into their path and not notice until the pain starts - ask me how I know ;-).
The other day I asked H what game they were playing and she responded something along the lines of, "Oh one of them, we have hundreds." They can make a make believe game out of playing a video game, so I could believe they have too many to count.
C practiced counting to 6 by counting a stack of guitars M had set aside to water. C has five down pat, but he is shaky on the names of numbers past that. He likes to talk about multiples of five, though (and twenty - both hands and both feet). For a while he talked about how much he liked things by how many times his hands and feet - many things were five times, so he liked them one-hundred. Some things even warranted being liked two-hundred.
