Ezra Crashed Our Camp out.

crazychicknladyStart with branches from a dead orange tree dug up last month.
Add enough old pizza boxes and matches to get the water logged wood to burn (it rained rather a lot the other day).
Remember an unopened box of marshmallows tucked away in the pantry.
Find sticks for roasting.
Roast some marshmallows, then try roasting hot dogs.
All this in our backyard, made a very fine lunch and mini camp out.
Ezra stood near the fire for nearly an hour, head down, relaxed, nearly falling asleep. It was the strangest thing. Whenever I pushed him to back away a few feet from the fire, he went without protest, then as soon as I walked away he moved forward again, so his head was half a foot from the edge of the fire pit.
